Ingredients
  

  • 7 Ripe tomatoes
  • 3 Medium-sized onion
  • 10-12 Garlic cloves
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 4 Byadagi pepper (long pepper)
  • 2 Small pepper (for spiciness)
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • to taste Salt
  • A little Curry leaves

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.

  • Once the oil is hot, add cumin seeds, black pepper and red chili and fry.

  • Then add the garlic and fry.

  • Now add the chopped onion and fry it.

  • Now add the ginger.

  • Now add the chopped tomatoes.

  • Now add turmeric powder and salt to it and mix well.

  • Now cover the pan and cook on medium heat until the tomatoes become soft.

  • Keep mixing in between.
  • Once the tomatoes are very soft, remove from the stove and let them cool.

  • Once cooled, put the tomato spice mixture in a mixie jar and grind it finely.

  • The tomato chutney is now ready.

  • Put this chutney in a bowl.

  • To enhance the flavor of the delicious chutney, add oil to a pan. Once the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and fry them. Then, chop a chilli pepper and fry it for a while. Pour this mixture into the prepared chutney.
