Try this easy  "Besan Laddu Recipe"

Besan laddu recipe is a beloved Indian sweet that has been enjoyed for generations. Made with simple ingredients like besan(gram flour), ghee and sugar.

– Ghee – 1 cup – Besan – 3 cup – Turmeric – a pinch – Powdered sugar – 1.5 to 2 cups – 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom(elaichi) powder. – Roasted and chopped cashews and almonds (optional)

Ingredients:

1. Heat a pan on low flame and add ghee. 2. Add besan to the ghee and start stirring continuously.

Step 1

1. Keep roasting on low heat until the besan turns golden brown and releases a nuty aroma. (This may take around 15 – 20 minutes). Add a pinch of turmeric for a nice golden colour. 2. Once the besan is roasted, turn of the heat and let it cool slightly.

Step 2

1. Add cardamom powder, roasted and chopped cashewsand almonds.

Step 3

1. Mix in the powdered sugar and combine everything well. 2. Let the mixture cool completely until it thickens.

Step 4

1. Take small portions and roll them into round laddoos. 2. Then garnish with cashew and almonds ,your soft and delicious besan laddoos are ready to enjoy.
